Long Time No Post...

Beer'd Brewing Midnight Oil Oatmeal Stout 6.2%

So we know its been a few weeks since we've done a blog post and we want you to know: fear not fellow beer geeks...we haven't gone anywhere...


We had every intention to post about our trip to Maine for my (Meg) birthday last month, but things got hectic! I started a new job... which has been great but definitely has required an adjustment period. Add in that the holidays are fast approaching and it makes for finding time to blog a little more difficult! We do promise we'll blog more soon - even if just a little blurb like this one! So stay tuned!

That being said: we've been asked if we ever thought of doing guests spots...and we are certainly into it! Any beer geeks out there wanting to write up a blog post - whether it be a beer adventure to a brewery, or a review on a good beer... hit us up! killihumpdrinksbeer@gmail.com

Two Roads Brewing Holiday Ale 7.3% &
Field Yield Pale 4.5%

We have managed to squeeze in a little beer adventure time recently after work or on our mutual days off together, (which unfortunately don't happen very frequently anymore). We visited Two Roads, (shout out to Jamie!) & Thimble Island last week - and we always try to stop in for a pint or two after work at our locals Beer'd, Barley Head & Outer Light.

Our recommendations for the week: one of our favorite oatmeal stouts is back for the season and we're so excited - Beer'd Brewing's Midnight Oil 6.2% (first picture above). Roasty and smooth with chocolate and coffee notes. SO GOOD! Definitely get there and have one! Two Roads Holiday Ale is also out for the season, (second picture above)... its malty perfection for the holiday season! We've noticed it on tap in a lot of local places, and you can also get it in stores. Both solid brews!
